Bursts of Butterflies

He gives me bursts of butterflies

when he is by my side

putting his hand in mine

breathing near

whispering get some rest my love in my ear

we are two cruising ships on the shoreline

passing him and he passes me

yet we crashed and find ourselves tangled in this life
