Why Were You the Charming One?

Why Were You the Charming One?

A Poem by butterfly

Are there men who likes other things besides b***s
Who can do more than just a body good?
I got rid of the toxicity
No I have to drip out all the bitterness in me
I hope you had your fun
I hope you had your fill
Why were you the charming one?
Why were you a liar still?
Someone must have abused him to be such an a*****e
Dont let the world harden your heart you lose the core of the goodness blown in to your soul
I wish you well
I am woke
Free of this enemy's evil spell
I blame the devil
I just live and learn
I Wait for the day I meet a man who wont leave me feeling scars that endlessly burn.
Why was this my fate?
Why couldnt I just walk away
I pray and pray that I forget your name
So one day i can wake up and never again feel ashamed
I dont want your fingers on me
i dont want your kiss
i just want it all to fade away
in the moonlight and rain
no one has to see
how s****y this show came to be
all hope is not out of me
better days are yet to come
i wonder though
why were you the charming one?
