A Pretty Painting

A Pretty Painting

A Poem by butterfly

He likes my yummy brown eyes it's like chocolate
His hazel eyes still annihilate
Poetic words were exchanged
Such a rare thing to find
When wars are things we must fight
Soldiers of doom hide behind the grey  smoke
Who are the ones bequeathed to bring us hope
I don't want to bring us down on Friday
We must address and draw the line on hate
In the window I see swirls of colors that represent love
Black and white
With strength from above

He holds on to her
She presses close to him
Together love is the force that pushes sometimes in harsh winds
Don't let go
I hear the voices in the swirl say
Only God can know
The meaning of truth and justice
Down here we are all clueless
Cherish the day when poetic words are exchanged
They might be the balms on the wounds of the past that seek to separate

Soldiers of good are angels in plain sight
They light the way for the blind
Often found in swirls of black and white
Inspiration can come from the colors of a butterfly
In addition can be found within the core of a human eye
Or a pretty painting with swirls of black and white
Here stands harmony, unity in an interracial mix
In the child with an interracial spirit
In a place of love
Already mixed from above
Follow the light
Find shine through the swirls of black and white
Hate is always fading
Love is waiting
In swirls of black and white sometimes inside a pretty painting
