Love Cup

Love Cup

A Poem by butterfly

On the online path of life
He found a way to make a girl ghost laugh
Restoring a lost broken soul inside to at least a half
Releasing from the cocoon a butterfly
Free and wild to fall like a snowflake on the snow
Human hearts should never be hard as stone
He is the mastermind without a doubt
When he bumped in to me and my love cup spilled out.
The stain is on his sweater
We were marked for this moment together
Is 4 years the length of forever?
Who can say
I can't keep track of time
I keep dreaming away
Every time I look in to his eyes
I taste his love cup
Flavored like honey divine
Sent from up above
Every time he is at my side

A love story here. How lives were changed by love. That is so warming to read. Descriptive and poetic. The shape of the poem took on the form of a goblet for me. Thank you for posting.

How dare you write something so A-M-A-Z-I-N-G? Seriously, I saw this, and for some reason, just by the name, I knew I'd love it so much. And your profile name. I love the story it tells, the rhyming, the wording, everything. I love how it's about how he helped fix her when she was a former shell and helped her turn into a butterfly. This was written with so much creativity and love. Not gonna lie, I'm gonna read this when I'm creatively stuck. I know it probably seems like I'm overreacting, but this expression is what I strive to write like. So... when are you publishing your poetry book? Lol, jk... unless...?
