He says and he texts

What do we actually do

He says our time will come

Until then I am free to do whatever I want to do

He says my love is true

If you go or leave I will wait for you

He says I will always want you

It don't make sense

He says its the love that makes us connect

In the end

i am tired

All I want to feel is our fire

His kiss quiets my ADD  mind

His embrace with a comfort not easy to find

Am I his, is he mine

I don't want to own any body

I don't want a financial contract

He is stuck in a place I don't understand

He worked on my resume for 3 hours

I didn't ask him too

He saw it on Linkedin

He googled me said he couldn't find me on Facebook

He knows I found him I told him how his profile looks

He says its just to keep the appearance he needs me

He has the feelings

Its hard to say the words

He said the L word it was a first

He has me so lost

Yet when we say goodbye it hurts

Am I a slave?

Maybe I am a butterfly who doesn't feel the need to fly away

Yet I am free

There are no chains that hold me

I am there because I want to be

He is my dream

Who knows if dreams come true

Who knows if dreams last

We have to try

Because of him I forgot the past

Now I am scared for the future

The world can be so harsh

We need a place where its just about the heart

I pray for God to lead the way

Keep us awake

Keep us safe

Whatever will be will be
