I Came Home

I Came Home

A Poem by butterfly

I live my life like a poet
I love someone with a tortured soul
I am the same and I know it
I want to do to him what spring does to cherry trees
I close my eyes and I sit in the rim of darkness
On his knees
As he searches deep in me
Together we fish for fallen light
I cut down all the flowers but I couldnt keep spring from coming
Last night I felt like he left me by the side of the road
In the morning my thoughts have found the loving
For a moment I came home.
