Happy Earth

Happy Earth

A Poem by butterfly

Hush, can you feel the happiness Earth has found
The less we move on her now
The more free she shines somehow
The coyote in San Francisco is out
Animals all around the world is walking on the ground
The humans are home bound
The fear is relieved
So, maybe the first time in so long they get to vacay and breathe
Imagine you are the deer and the hunter is coming to kill you here
Imagine you are the bear and your home is strange as campers are always near
Why couldn't we share?
Whats the silver lining there?
I am happy i try to do my best
Still taking things for granted isn't always a passed test
I love to walk under the sun
On the run to work
Why girl?
So much money to make
So much economy heartache
Do we ever wonder what it is good for?
COVID-19 has come but Cancer was already born
AIDS, Rape, homeless, ALS, hunger and dumb war
Who is winning and what do we win for?
Love, peace and living should be the focus of this ride
I believe in this time God is turning the tide
He isn't completely happy with the things that make us smile
God works in mysterious ways
So God wins today
In some weird way we will find our crying left in yesterday
Sun will hit us with His ray
We will also find the happiness Earth us found once again rare in life
Why
A change in our way of life must be made
We cant keep doing it the same
Delete the will for foolish games
Let His love fall on us like rain
We are a dry desert plain
Bleak and in vain
I want to leave behind something more
For the children left to deal with the unopened door
Reborn with love
The love that made us
For a happy world
A rebirth to a happy earth.
