Boy Bye

Boy Bye

A Poem by butterfly

I just can't read the signs
His eyes, touch and kiss burn in to me like kryptonite
When I wake up after love making in the night
Knowledge strikes like a deer killed by the headlight
His photos of his "ex" girl all over
On the wall
On the shelf
On the mousepad
Boy bye you need help
I am an angel, a butterfly
Sent to him to release him from the chains of hell and the mad
Its up to us to walk away
To receive the blessings of a new day
or we can stay in the same place
So go on and ignore me
there is no one better
I am the angel forever
i walked with him in the dark
i am the last keeper of the light
i had to ignite a spark somewhere in his heart
I could stay with him dream in jeans and leather
Keeping us warm in rainy weather
i could love forever
Yet he desires crazy
I am not that baby
so boy bye
I stretch my wings and fly
I am still alive
With a lust for life
Even when fallen for one night
My God calls me from deep inside
Reminding me who I am
Even without a man
He will be here to hold my hand
Help mend what is hard to understand
He whispers some day
Love will come to stay
till then its time to fly away
Through the sunlight and the rain
I prepare to fly in european skies
As I whisper boy, bye!
