Butterflies rising

Enlightening my mind like stars shining

In the daytime starlight can still be seen

Its my day off I caught the writing bug

I am merely the recorder for the words I type on the screen

i leave worry, fear, insecurity behind

I cling to the memories positive and kind

It doesn’t matter if I see him tonight

He should know already we are forever tied

I just let go a little and before I know I am flying free in the sky

I am grateful for the moments we shared

I am grateful for the three minutes that were there

Even through the hail and rain he comes to me

Sweet kisses are what we should live for

Not money and stock markets

We shouldn’t have to work so hard that we are kept apart

Yet this is the life we all chose

In my mind it doesn’t pay to be smart

Get degrees to make money but lose heart

We are all working to make America Great Again

We all need to be kind in the end

Everything we learned in kindergarten have floated away in exchange for gold

Yesterday and this morning I realize it was insecurity and worry I hold

A new season is here and appears with the chance to be bold

I am excited for the next time he comes

My heart and love can’t go in hiding

I release the fear and watch butterflies rising

Through out me I am filled with the eternal joy

I realize I fell in love with a boy

Maybe we don’t get the same dream as others

maybe we have grown blind to what is in the stars

Maybe there is still obstacles that make us suffers

All I know we hold love for each other in our hearts

Its enough to want to hold in the wonders

As we feel the enlightening of butterflies rising
