The Tin Man

The Tin Man

A Poem by butterfly

There is something about him
Its all just a dream
Nothing is what I want it to be in reality
Yet there is something that makes me feel its him I am missing
Yet I know he is dangerous
Selling me a car?
How do I get to his heart?
He is the tin man
Some one took it a long ago so, why does he wipe his feet on my mat?
Some guys throw chocolate squares me and try to trip me up
Some get me naked just to leave me feeling fucked
What happened to the sacred love?
We waited so long for the Golden State Warriors to find good luck
Maybe this is what I have to do
I have to go one and move
One day i will forget about you
However he will forever remember my love so true
He is the tin man heartless and blue
I just don't understand but deep inside I still long to talk to you
Even Dorothy loved the tin man till the end
Even they found a way to be a forever friend
More fairytale fails
As the sun glows the gleam pales
Listen, I won't give up hope
As I sit on the couch at home
Looking at the missed calls from him on my screen
He is the tin man nothing but a wicked made dream

"Some get me naked just to leave me feeling fucked." Says a lot about a lot of young men.
