Daizy

Daizy

A Poem by butterfly

She runs to freedom only to be blocked by the gate
I call her in for a snack she runs to me with a happy face
She sits on my lap and I hold her close
The sunshine comes bright and I know its because Daizy is at my side
When we are feeling like caged souls God sends you a dog to remind you at least one kind of life likes you tonight
We cuddled in the garden like a tangled rose
Now I sit watching chopped cause my homework is done
I did my best daddy but I failed the test
He trapped me inside his net
The long day is done.
Tomorrow is a new and the sunshine breaks through a big storm cloud
I know love will be mine without a doubt
With my dog I sit out
I take in the beautiful sky all around
The world may be crazy and Kiddo eternally barks
Yet  I am not broken hearted for long
There is always someone to soothe your soul a new with song
We are sisters and she smiles and stays strong
Everlasting love comes in a furry brown little lovely dog who runs like crazy but smells like Daizy.
