Silence

Silence

A Poem by butterfly

The phone stares at me with its silent screen
There is no text, missed call that blinks
Where did he go? Did I imagine the whole thing?
Its not that I miss him I just keep wandering
What is the reason for the silence?
I guess he had his fill he got a new cheese
Someone new to hug and squeeze
When will someone really and truly need me?
No man ever said I love you
The voices only speak in dreams
In the air I can see the silence
In the sky the pocket clouds fluff up from the violence the wind brings when change arise
I thought I saw love in his eyes
I was just another game to write the line for lies
No man ever said I love you
I don't wish him to
I know its all lies they say it don't mean anything anyway
As I soak in the rain of his silence
I feel this ray of hope blowing away this ghost that has haunted me for so long
I feel myself lifted on the wings of heavenly song.
As, I wander in the succulence of his silence.
