![]() Beautiful PathsA Poem by butterflyA passenger wild in the roam My heart finds warmth in the cozy but has no home Boxes and cages feel so cold Here I am free for wonders to behold Somewhere down the road I turned beyond the bend I got lost towards the end The discovery of a beautiful path stood beyond the moss It led me to something new A familiar but strange view It led me to his kiss Filled my arms with his body Didn't think he would be someone I would miss Still my heart calls for him only When he is not near all the parts of me feel holy Like a cheeseboard waiting for more Like a drunken butterfly he zigzags to my door A stranger from the east A strange fruit fell To birth a sweet but wicked beast It was a magic spell We didnt drink summer wine There was no way to be intoxicated Yet our relationship is complicated Holy cow I like his eyes Only now I see the light I wonder what he feels inside He buzzes around me like a drunken butterfly It was a beautiful discovery I would never have If I didn't choose this beautiful path Where it leads only heaven knows I hope its a dream come true for my soul Till then I am a wild passenger full and whole I'm a time traveler free to go to any age or stage I walk without a ball or a chain Free from pain Only with hope do I roam All I know this is a beautiful day We get a chance to do something great Nothing can make you break If for love you chose to be brave They can't call you dumb for choosing to love someone I roam on and I hope I get lost What will I find beyond the moss I was led to something new It helped discover the way it feels to kiss you The way his scruffy beard feels in my hands Would not have been discovered had I not been brave enough To walk beautiful paths.
