We are nothing but we could be something
His words are so sweet but he will never belong to me
Even though I know what I know I still love him so
I will love you like this
Maybe I will meet another to help me forget his kiss
He texts I tell myself slow down
My heart needs to respond now
He loves me with no makeup on my face
It felt so good to be in his embrace
I thought he had forgotten me and I was sad
Then another text came and the butterflies returned to melt it all away
He must be my soul mate
Why would it feel like this?
No matter how mad I get I feel the eternal flame
Does it burn for him or just for me ?
Am I just caught up in a dream?
Please Lord heal this heartache
If it's not meant to be blow it all away
Why does human love feel like this?
A sweet kiss that I miss
Yet fills life with bitterness
Yet I'm hooked on a nothing that could be something
Why does it feel this way?
He must be my soulmate.
