Vanishing

Vanishing

A Poem by butterfly

I see you on the bed
I hear your cry
Angels don't even know why
This is the command, you are called ahead
God wants to be the one to hold your hand
We don't understand
We fought the good fight
Is this life?
In the end it's not in our control?
We never lost we just had no cure
God keeps it safe
Maybe if it was in earth it would be too expensive to take
Everything is borrowed and God will ask for it back
We surrender at last
Now we reached the dark chapter
It will still end happily ever after
Some way with laughter and crazy banter
Soon the suffering is vanishing
ALS completely banished
Why do we try so hard?
We still end up with a broken heart
I need my man tonight
He is no where in sight
Even love is slowly vanishing
Fading away, no texts in 3 days
Why did you knock on my door?
What is love for?
I don't know anymore my energy is vanishing
I can't even cry tears
I can't ask you to be here
I'm Alone in the dark with fear
I know it won't be long
I hear the angel song
The dark is vanishing
The light slips in as if forbidden
I pray with love in whispers
I hope He will answer another way
Our time is borrowed
We only have until our final tomorrow
I'm still not a wife
It's so hard to understand life
All of me is slipping out of sight
All my thoughts clashing
As we realize in this dark chapter nothing lasts forever
It's a borrowed everlasting that starts with vanishing.
