Hunger

Hunger

A Poem by butterfly

I sit at the table
Sunlight warms the disable
I love you but our story is just a fable
He tastes so good
Yet I feel there is no room
Did he have me groomed?
Was I just consumed?
Now I hunger for food
For his kiss
One tablespoon on my dish, all I need is just one lick
This hunger makes me sick
I don't know where to find you, please God give me it
I'm not an addict crying for a lost drug
I just want real love
As I continue to wander
The more I hear the thunder
I can hear my body growl
I just need one more helping now
Oh why is it him I miss
If there is someone better,
Bring us together
Till then I continue to wonder
With this endless hunger.
