little something

little something

A Poem by Jerry Patrick Ryan

The wind blows a whispering howl as the chill sets in
as I feel the cold air as I breath my chest in
knowing soon I'll be resting
made me feel at peace, death I find interesting
is the after life real
would I be able to feel
walk and talk and label the field
life is made for us to steal
half of the world with not even enough for a meal
making life just more tougher to deal
so we suffer to heal as life buffers the reel.
