Ode to Youth

Ode to Youth

A Poem by lusoamerican
"

It is what the title says.

"

Bulky Mass of Muscle

Teenage pride swelling inside

New license in hand

Wooing the giddy girls

To take a spin around the block

Sleek shiny wheels over polished

Flawless pearl flake paint

Flexing muscles out open windows

Driving too fast.

Disregarding the importance of school

Hiding the appropriate reaction

To the bitter first taste of beer

Loved by grinning young women

You tackle like a pro

Juking and sidestepping

Speed like a mustang

Yelling madly as crushed opponents

Blow snot from dazed nostrils

All-State mass of sinew and

Unbreakable oversized bones.

Showing your impressive strength

Possessing dashing good looks

And long flowing locks

Of wavy sandy blonde

Perfectly combed hair

Bulging muscles and a ham-like neck

Seth was off to conquer the world.
