Chapter 13

Charlie is stood in the corridor in the hospital outside her father's room. A nurse walks up to Charlie and asks "Can I help you?"

Charlie turns her head and says "Hey, Crystal. What's up?"

Crystal says "Charlie, what are you doing here? Are you ok?"

Charlie says "Why does everyone keep asking me that?"

Crystal says "I don't know about everyone but you're wandering around a hospital that's why I'm asking."

Charlie says "Do you know the guy in this room?"

Crystal says "Mr Flirty? Yeah, why?"

Charlie says "Mr Flirty?"

Crystal says "If it has b***s, he'll flirt with it."

Charlie says "Can I go in?"

Crystal says "Relatives only."

Charlie says "He's my father."

Crystal says "Really?" Charlie nods. "Then what are you doing standing in the hallway? Get in there."

Charlie says "Thanks, Crystal." Charlie enters the room.
