a glimpse of love

 love.

I have been trying all my life

to find a way through the light

to feel the temper of a kiss

leaning towards  my faithful lips 

where inches of air separates our face

but after moments the connection clicks

and this is when I feel whole again 

this is where i feel alive 

for the first time in my life, it all begins

to emerge along a love so big

where blood dances with veins within 

and bodies shiver in enlightenment 

loving you is like a carriage of sin

sacrificing innocence for skin 

of someone's body brushing through my bones

catching every breath that I let go  

and feeding off the emotions exposed 

only to inhale the heroin of love

and experience the euphoria composed.
