That Were Behind

That Were Behind

A Poem by Dream Slave

Insomnia struck,
My path was blocked,
Couldn't find a way back,
In circles chased the tracks,
That were behind...
The same ones that lead,
Once again to my head,
Couldn't find what was real,
In circles chased for thrills,
That which was behind...
Tired I became,
Of all my actions ashamed,
Couldn't find my sanity,
In circles left my own humanity,
Abandoned now behind.
