Do not stand above my grave and cry,

For I will not be below.

My soul is traveling where you go.

 

I am with you in your dreams

I lie with you beneath the sheets.

I sit next to you on the bus.

So, baby, don’t make a fuss.

 

I am the cold chills down your spine,

I am the sun that kisses your face.

I am the rain that you wish would stay.

I am the one who hears you pray.

 

I am the flowers to which you tend,

I am the birds that glistens in the trees.

I am the bees that provide your honey.

I am the reason your days are no longer sunny.

 

I am the stars you gaze beneath,

I am the snow you love to eat.

I am the clouds above your head.

I am the one waiting ahead.

 

I am all around you see,

So please don’t go to my grave and cry.

For,I am not dead, but quietly alive.
