ExpectationsA Poem by Jessica JDemonstrating a sense of knowledge Makes my sorrow somewhat less… A selling of the truth To the unconcerned. I really shouldn't be so purple and weak… A yellow is fading. Even if I am shiny and bright, it is a rouse. Warmness is a façade and develops quickly… A buffet for the hungry. It's time to edify and involve you in it. You lack an answer and try to fill me up… A temporary fix. Not yet cynical enough to realize I am allowed… A rage is expected. But never developed. I am losing my grip… A destruction is eminent. © 2008 Jessica JReviews
