Scorpio PoetA Poem by Josie E. Cook M. A.Her appearance changes with the Seasons,Scorpio Poet
Her appearance changes with the Seasons, She loves noir fiction stories, And often she feels a little backward In crowded rooms and spaces, Weekend afternoons are for wandering Into shabby shops, hiking in the wilderness Reserves, and sipping cheap wine. She is somewhat cynical and always Distrusting until proven wrong, She often forgives and doesn't plan ahead Most of the time. A favorite place is with a friend In a bar or a pub drinking a craft beer With loud music in the background enough To have a catch-up conversation. She looks for lovely old architecture And haunted places daily, And always appreciates the hospitality In public places. Blue-peaked mountains flecked With snow, catch her interest Hills and valleys are also intriguing And keep her fascination. She likes to be late for parties And sneak in among the others. Old postcards and stamps Are admired by her. Rain washes away her sorrow At times, and it also can make her Sad, sleepy, and craving a hot cup of tea. Her creative whims keep her living And enjoying her life. --"J. E. Cook ©2018 © 2019 Josie E. Cook M. A.Author's Note
