Embrace

Embrace

A Poem by jos1e1239
"

I was given this as a task with just a simple sentence to go off. I love it.

"

The warm embrace

Of a mothers arms

Her pulsing heart

That always calms

The safest place

I’m sure I know

In a mothers arms

She helps me grow

Into the girl

She knew I could be

She guides me through life

And helps me see

We go through life

As blinded babes

Guided only by

Our mother’s ways

Though the wind and the rain

The storm and the sun

The ups and the downs

The long ways we run

The one person we find

Whose love may not be clear

Our mothers embrace

Will always be near.
