O gorgeous wanderer,

Shimmying down the

Broken path

Will you pick up the dime

That lay buried at your feet?

 

O gorgeous wanderer,

You who walk alone in

The midnight of my mind

Does the darkness swallow

You up like the whale does the krill?

 

Oppression and Ignorance walk

Hand in hand.

One fueling the other

O gorgeous wanderer,

Will you leave me stranded

With that which I hate?
