The Very Agony of Joy

The Very Agony of Joy

A Poem by Josh Bieber
"

I am going to put up some short poems that never grew taller. The first, "The Very Agony of Joy," is much in the style of Emily Dickinson.

"

The very agony of joy,

Is every joy that died,

And all his heraldry

And all his lineage,

Cast such a shadow on his reign,

That each is greater than his son.
