Two hands

Two hands

A Poem by Canicus

Two hands holding my heart

both just stole it

I couldn't stop either one

between two my heart is split

One, the hand of my beautiful maiden

so soft, loving, and tender

I love her more than words can say

to her I can't help but to surrender

The other not so kind

digging it's nails inside, wanting to cause me pain

the dark princess I can not stop

my darkest fear it can obtain

One leads to a life full of

laughter, happiness, and affection

the other has horrid things awaiting

hatered, despair, maybe even screaming at my own reflection

Two hands hold my heart

one of the sick, twisted darkness

the other of my love, my life, my world

this life is going to  be a battle none the less

I loved the emotions in this poem. It has a love and a dark twist to it. I could feel like their is suffering in the piece to the other dark princess. At least you have a heroine to combat the wicked one. Thanks for sharing. :)
