The Person Inside

People just don't understand

they don't see what's behind my eyes

all the pain, all the misery

caused by all of life's lies

 

They think I have

nothing causing me to stress out

but there are many things

that no one knows about

 

Sometimes I

just can't handle it

I feel like crying my eyes out

then drowning myself in the tear-filled pit

 

My life is not all rainbows

like everyone thinks

it's far from it

and gets darker with ever blink

 

The person inside of me

is not a happy one

he is full of stress and sorrow

sometimes just wishing to be done
