Book

A poem I have written. It's different from what I normally write about and has a different format

Life can be rough
there are those moments
where everything is tough

you have to take it one part at a time
just like a book
you can't try to flip the page at anytime

you can't just skip around
there is an order
to be found

page by page
chapter by chapter
Know the book or you'll be confused up on stage

for a perfect ending
you have to work through the book
don't go through like you know it, pretending

Life is like a book
don't go too fast
take the time to look

Reading through this poem, one can detect that there is a real thought process going on here. Alot of the time it's difficult to articulate those ideas to come across as to inspire others. You have done a lovely job in metaphorically describing life as a book.
