good friends

good friends are all you need
to get you past what is unbearable
and help carry you through the hard times
no matter how terrible

They will stand up for you when no one else will
fight for you when you have no strength
make you smile a smile
from cheek to cheek in length

They will stay with you
through good and bad
sure there are those times
that they make you mad

but when it comes right down to it
you are like family
watch out for each other
ohh so carefully

that's what good friends do
you fight, you smile, and you understand
when they're in trouble
you give them a helping hand
