Wishing For a Miracle

Lately, I've envisioned us holding hands

Getting to know each other a little better

Slowly, you're making my thoughts bestir

Taking me to my most majestic dream lands

My mind caught and sinking in quicksand

Without you lands are cold and danker

To me you will forever be special

I hope we could at least have on chance

You really know how to make me smile bright

Holding my curiosity back due to fright

Please, one last try at romance

For you seem to have me in a trance

A chance for the sparks to ignite

I'm wishing for a miracle

Awwww, this is so romantic and sweet. I love poetry like this. You truly did an awesome job. You should continue this form of poetry. You are an amazing poet anyways. We all have had one moment or two in our lives where we wish for a miracle with someone that meant something to us. Those are the moments I will always cherish.
