a beautiful field of flowers

on a bright summer's day

shining on through countless hours

I can be

the pure hatred in your soul

the thing brings out the worst in you

that makes you pay the toll

I can be

the very chills down your spine

making you shake in bed at night

putting you in a wicked bind

I can be

very powerful emotions

literature can be a strong thing

the tear in your eye or your heart's devotion
