Yet still we held onto a dead love, for all that we were worth. Clinging onto innocence that blossoms between comfort and obsession. And the moments spent underneath the stars swirling above. Images of who we once were drove futile attempts over and over. We fought until our hands bled and our minds hemorrhaged around the fact that seemingly we were not meant to be what we thought we were. I will return to my burlesque. My masquerade with reality.
