The darkness that washes over this barren land
besets my course, bringing my advancements to a screeching halt, held at bay by the demoniac spirits that trample the corridors of my thoughts Pushed backwards and under the blacken waves of negative energy that is building around me, snaring my ankles, pulling me downward in oily depths that structure this image that I dwell Every light of hope is snuffed as malignity grows over the blue skies that once were, here I am, lost without you in a world of my own creation, displaced in a shade of eternal stagnant gray I will still trod towards the warmth on the unsteady horizon, memories of you will push my bruised feet forwards, guiding my broken heart closer to the one that it still beats for © 2013 joshua deathdealerAuthor's NoteFeatured Review
