carcinogenic wonderlands

carcinogenic wonderlands

A Chapter by joshua deathdealer
"

12/2011 (Blood type B: Installment Ten)

"
Another cold and baneful night sets
around my detrimental mindset

taste iron crimson raindrops
as they fall from winters sky

the darkness is deleterious as
carcinogenic wonderlands rise
in concord with the moon that
shows red splashed landscapes

 unrelentingly

slashing the throats of my rivals
and smearing their coating warmth
underneath my dry eyes so that I
too may cry blood

A stunningly dark and atmospheric write that created a sea of images. Especially of blood tears. This is one of those poem that has used language with such care and precission that the images will stay in the mind throughout the day. Beautifully dark and delerious. Superbly crafted wether read to oneself or read out loud. Great job

Awe, this was emotional. Poor character. I really feel bad for him...dealing with thirsts and killing innocent. I love the concept of this story. Thanks for sharing.

It's beautifully done. Dark and enveloping the readers as they read on.
Your poem drew an unconcious physical response. I shivered.
I love how you portrayed the bloody hunt. I find it sensual for some reason.
Truly a wonderfully dark piece.

I like the sense of twist at the end. Your ending talks about "slashing the throats of my rivals" but then you end with crying blood yourself, which I like. I feel like it makes the ending that much more powerful and really ends the whole piece well.

Love the last verse. That's how I think about 'other writers', not your good self of course as I wld definitely rather be on the same side as you. I also like the notion of dry eyes, as this implies a state of sublime detachment from run of the mill sentimentality.

Wonderfully vengeful and craving...so that the tears may flow, reap it upon another...almost like a searching for release, great piece! xoxo

Wow, one of your best.

Make a book called "Bloodlust" with all these pieces and send it to me. I will read and review every piece.

You write darkness and goth probably the best on this site, Josh.
