Sweet poem, the last verse is just enigmatic enough to be intriguing, and could be an interesting metaphor for a certain approach to life... where we accept that people, or indeed, animals, or Gods, or life, may not always do the things we want, they may not behave as we think they should, we may not understand them, but if we know we can love them at their best, then we should also try to love them at their worst, even if they're not quite fitting in with our plans or ideals. Nice sentiment xx
amazing write, love the feelings in this.
Enjoyed this. I had a cat once, it ran away,
I miss that cat so much. I used to sit and talk to it
like it was a person. Weird i know, anyways love this write.
Me? I'm a dog guy. But I loved this. It made me smile and laugh out loud. And give a soppy sigh at the end. Dog's do the same. Good isn't it? The poem itself is great too. Great flow and structure. The only downside was that I had to copy and paste into word and change the colour. But that's down to my eye's not your set up. Great poem.
Aww...yeah, you did tell me you owned a cat called Luna. She seems to be quite playful. Anyway, I love this poem mostly for its sense of humor and the fact you give the cat a bigger picture of what it is. But all pets need love and this is one of them. Good job.
