the anticipated return

the anticipated return

A Poem by joshua deathdealer

Another night spent in your arms
once again kissing your delicate lips
to rejuvenating our feeble spirits
quickly setting the stage for the
anticipated return to my hearts home

It's been hell, struggling forward to meet you
but every painful step, every estranged
night, I would do a million times over
to be wrapped up in your tender caress
to stand beside you now and feel the same
breeze that graces the lengths of your hair

You have suffered so much in my
absence...I know baby, I've missed you too
being without you is impossible to bear
and yes...I will stay this time until the
very fabric of eternity begins to tear

very nice! Its sweet and has feelings that people can can relate to. I like your use of words, but, I'm not too big on romance so I find it a tad cheesy. Otherwise I enjoyed it!

why blue? I get Synesthesia, I get blue as in depression, but expression in words should create their own colors, their own spectral rainbows and prismatic aurora's.
I think you've done that here before the introduction to color. You may know this already and coloring the words has a personal meaning to you and that's cool. But as a reader, I'm not getting it. And in an artistic sense, I don't have to as long as it means something to you. Not all readers get everything. And that realization also lends to the composition of any creation.
