A Poem by joshua deathdealer

"
I'm sorry, I thought I knew you
and I didn't mean to stare but
was that a smile of recognition
right before the hateful glare

No..your right, your not her
the girl I knew was full of hope
your possessed and full of anger
barely able to cope

Promise me that if you see her
you'll tell her that I'm sorry and I really care
and that I miss her looking back at me
from the mirror we used to share

I like this poem. Made your point with gentle and kind words. Hard to watch people change directions. I like the ending. Always good to leave with kindness and a open door for the good people in a life. A excellent poem.

This was well written and sad at the same time. Its like losing touch with your best friend, none the less it was an amazing poem.
