tryst

tryst

A Poem by joshua deathdealer

"
I look into your eyes ever so closely as we lay in my bed
silently removed from the war that rages around us
breathing in unison the placidity of this moment
my fair love, this night we are safe from peril

our litanies are in amplified effect

we are impervious to their fallacies

we have hollowed out an early embrace in this wall of time
a chance for our knowing lips to kiss, a tangible collision
a way to soothe our aching skin, melting collectively                                                           my fair love, this night we have made for ourselves

'a way to soothe our aching skin' ! outstanding...
This poem's rich with expressions and emotions are somehow speakable. Those dramatic words goes beyond 'drawing up' a poem. They picture an image of sensual experience in a very careful beautiful way. Amazing piece.

this was enchantingly beautiful..."we are impervious to their fallacies" - the font reduction has a significance - as per my understanding"impervious/invisible to the follies of those around"...so the decrease in fonts (?)...overall soothing write almost like a lullaby :)

This is filled with all the passion that lies within the love that becomes the center of the world. The kind that is not so much desperate as it is like a blanket of security to block out the world that crumbles around us. Clinging to the one you love, becoming one with the sensual need to complete eachother, knowing that love is really all we have when it comes down to it. Whether it is your lover, your child, family or your friend... love...

THIS REDS SO SMOOTHLY. SO CREATIVE, AS ALWAYS. I FIND IT ROMANTIC AND IT'S EASY FOR ME TO PICTURE THE LOVE IN THIS POEM BECAUSE OF HOW WELL YOU HAVE PAINTED IT ;)

Well Josh.. I don't smoke but I might just need a pack..:) This is sensual and flirty..and yet romantic.. you pull them away from the chaos and create an island for lovers.. "tangible collision".."aching skin".... in a night made for two.. perfection!!!

This is beautiful and passionate. One can feel the deep emotion and longing for this brief moment of togetherness, away from the problems of the world. You have a wonderful gift.

"my fair love, this night we are safe from peril"...
isn't that what love's supposed to be all about?

Subtle fervor in it’s purest form.
Beautiful imagery with sinuous
words that flowed easily.
Nice work…

This is romantic and quite soothing. I enjoy the peace that escapes the madness of mankind that rages without, away from this cocoon of quiet sensuality; and the melting balm of love.

Beautifully written.
