deafening silence

deafening silence

A Poem by joshua deathdealer
"

2005

"
my friends have abandoned me because I'm
too broken
looking into mirror, I can see terrifying
pain unspoken
the sheer agony that sears my soul has left me
empty and alone
the Lord God himself turned from me as I fell
before his throne
a deafening silence omits in a radius
around me
drowning out all of the reverberations
I used to hear
numbing all of the sensations that
I used to feel
your shade is gone, my skin burns underneath
a cursed sun
death is coming, I can smell her stench
in the air
hell is moving, i can feel the seams
of my soul began to tear
hollow spills out
filling cracks within
my bloodied eyes recoil
I am lead by the blind
downward downward
parading this anger around
cutting skin to match

This is so gorgeous...I love that you are such a kindred spirit. You are so brave to let us into your world...I hope you can feel my gratitude. I often marvel at how things that feel so ugly can be painted so pretty with our words. I think that's why I write sometimes. I can control the horror a bit, make it more tolerable. Strange how stunning it looks when in the guise of poetic prose....hauntingly beautiful, as always....xx

Dark thoughts given voice as you describe with eloquence the state of mind and fall from grace ad man is cast into the pit of ones own oblivion.
Loved it, keep em' coming

Very dark write Josh, tons of raw imagery. Your description of death is very scarey

2nd line: to broken
Did you mean too broken? You must think I'm picking on you? But I'm not really, I favorited this Josh!
