A Poem by joshua deathdealer
"

05/2011

"
you are my casualty, your eradication
my sojourn in your country
has brought about my descent

falling from your smothering embrace
your pallet of a thousand stakes
my surface dies underneath your taste

this com-mixture was difficult to fathom
but I will believe in you now, now that its over
now that its murder

I love the last line of this poem and I enjoyed the entire poem. There's nothing better to me than a short poem with a lot of meaning. "You are my casualty, your eradication" strong and powerful opening line. I couldn't help but think of total chaos and destruction. And cause and effect. Very good poem.

WOW!!... I am so feeling this piece, Joshua...(having to deal with this very issue)

Sometimes it angers me when people can be so callus to others...

In the end, they are overwrought with their own insensitivities...

Excellent write!~xoxo~

Started strong and ended with a murder. That is the way to do it! I liked the gentle intricacy in this poem, it caresses with beautiful imagery and vocabulary, but doesn't throw you down into a whirlwind of unnecessary information. Very well done.

A lot of emotion flowed through such a short poem. I enjoyed it. But this one seems different from the other poems that I've read from you. The others I've read were of self awareness and moving on. This one is about the chaos of two souls. Cause and effect. J'adore! -Ian
