"

it may be sooner than you think
the ghost whispered through the chattering of teeth and the
brittle leaves scuttling away from me
the moon was full the night the valency began
                                                                cracked in character
                                                                                    feeble in nature
                                                                      I caved inside myself
                                                                smitten with a singular thought
                                                      a beam of blinding light
                                                                  beating in my lungs
                                                                            pulsing with my breath
soon it'll slam like a door and eternity will open up
and I will die as I have lived
with this gleam in eye, with this spectral sword in hand
                                                                                       given to glory, to purity
I will walk until I am home, until I am with you

Just dropping by to read some of your poems. This was beautiful and painful at the same time. I don't know or maybe it's just my mood. But the last line "I will walk until I am home, until I am with you" slew it all. It was perfect, Joshua, as usual. I really hope I can check out all your poems that I haven't read. ㅠㅠ
