faceless

faceless

A Poem by joshua deathdealer

"
if I have learned anything
in my thirty something years

it is that I can always
count on You

show us this One
some will say

but I can't give You a face
You have no face

instead

You are inside me
and all around me

You are the morning
reaching to save me

and the mist that rises
to embrace my skin

You are the deer
standing still

and the birds that sing
softly to the dawn

I can, however
give You a name

You are the Lord of my day
and the Proprietar of my night

no, I am not perfect

but within You
I am complete

That was very lovely, Joshua. The feeling of love blossoming all over the place and having that someone to complete your day. Must be such a beautiful feeling. A fine poem from you, once again. You never fail to portray images of your words and thoughts. Great work. ^^

This is a piece that I can view in several different ways. I like that. I can see love, peace, compassion, and spirituality. It makes the reader feel at home.

The invisible love, the faceless love, the love within you, that makes you, YOU.
With so much strength and believe, there is no face needed, true love is well spelled out here.

Gorgeous poetry, so on point!
