endless

endless

I walk to remember

I dance to forget

When will this end

This pointless breathing

In and out

This endless lie

This never ending story

Still white knuckled

Still black eyed

I can’t let go

So instead I nod out

I fall into the pattern

I’ve been left with

I reside in the fire

Sigh, there is still so much work to do before, it will end... but I can feel your intense need to get there, it's almost a battle, or a crusade of so many living years still ahead... Perfect piece.

A dark potent cry in the night Joshua. Has great depth.

i love the use of metaphors and symbolism to portray the pain you've dealt with. Indeed dark, but however i like my coffee black just like my metal so this is perrrrrfect
