the last chantey

A Poem by joshua deathdealer

"
"come back to me"
we mouth lifetimes apart

each in silence
together in sequence

we twist in agony
with the rhythm
of a bad dream

with the throes
of a dying planet

as the forest burns
as the dolphins die

don't cry for me
cry for the oceans
cry for the children
