there is not enough light left
for me to find my way back home a different kind of night thickens, immobilizing me bringing me face to face with your abdicated ghost tuning my deprived ears to the saddest of songs a different kind of silence that only rakes at the coals from the perpetual fire that burns underneath my heart the trees here are barren desolate in their height they reach out dead limbs soaking up the air that remains in a nuclear sky there is not enough nutrients left for you and for me © 2013 joshua deathdealerFeatured Review
