us as one

us as one

A Poem by joshua deathdealer
"

"
still your outline burns
starlit, I travel the
mindscape, back to you
still you make me feel small
my heart breaks
to your movements
to the way your hair
falls in your face
I memorized
the scars etched
I traced
the veins cut
the blood mixed
completing us as one
I followed your aura
as we slept
hidden from the morning
as ghost, we lay

I felt this one, you are the poet my dear friend....
What you've written is purity... nothing else.

It says to me you're facing and walking the darker realms, but they are nice
as we know aren't they? (that addictive part)...

I don't need to repeat anything here, for it stands powerful on it's own...
you're the poet who let us face reality, and I'm grateful you do.

There is nothing more beautiful than a soul who "is".

Thank you dearest friend. Just real, honest poetry here.

From start to finish I was caught up in this. Beautifully written

"my heart breaks
to your movements" - I love the whole piece but these lines in particular stood out to me.

Great poem here

I deify no one, but your work has a tendency to leave me searching the sky. You are such an inspiration, and a guide on my journey as a writer.

Your words match the imagery of the pic perfectly. A blur of emotions that make the reader go "oh yeah" I've felt that, I've been there. Kind of nostalgic, but that's why I like it!
