Wow, absolutely amazing! This is such a beautiful poem, and artfully penned. I particularly like the symbols, whether intentional or coincidential, like the lilies, and April. In Japan, "four means", among others, "shi", which can also mean "death" - making the number very unlucky, perhaps worse than 13, and the forth month, April, is called "shi-gatsu".
Just one of the random thoughts that popped into my head at reading this.
I also like the idea of passing on to the next world and waiting for your beloved at the Gate.
It's very nice how you put emphasis on the word by only capitalizing this one solely.
Thank you for sharing this outstanding piece of art!

You take me to the darkest places with your writes, where you plunge your readers into the sea of loneliness and desperation...I truly felt this, my dear...
love this! it is actually very mystical and full of archetypal forces. Not sure if its intentional, but our subconscious has a way of pulling them out of our depths. I see all the veils being torn off, revealing the pearl of the lotus, the love from the soul.

Sigh.... what a thrilling write my friend... can't discribe how...
I think your poetry is one of the best, you totally feel what it is, to
be totally out of contact to the one you love, yet you make a connection.
The image that you outline of this ceremony on a raft, gives me the chills
from the past and other times. (King Arthur). Beautifully done.
Then to be brought to this graveyard... like you see your own future,
That not makes me afraid,
it's just an art if you're not afraid of moments in death.
You bring death with love to art...
The song of The Cure you've posted, is one of my favorites all time.... just perfect!
A fantastic piece of high dark romance... sweet friend!
"My trepidation of things past is not a song with a beginning, middle and end. But an endless symphony playing infinite variations on the same theme. One day of sadness fades into another and the .. more..
