phoenix

phoenix

A Poem by joshua deathdealer
"

08/2013

"
"I'll never leave you"
freezes to my lips

crystallizes to the roof  of my mouth
instantly hollowed out from the inside

I'm still standing fixed on the centuries passing
still ingesting the horror I'm surrounded by

"Where did you go"
my mind frantically repeats

like rhetorical prophecies lost to the azure
with no relief in sight I catch aflame

burning up
in front of the unchanging masses

incinerating
in a indistinct background

I could hear the echoing " Where did you go" it sings like knifes through a soul... very beautiful, that part....

Sometimes, to just let it burn, and burn good, is best.... ;) It's so well written, with the theme of the darkness, and the phoenix through it... wonderful job here.

Now it's totally an amazing job ... I enjoyed yer these lines much :-
my mind frantically repeats
like rhetorical prophecies lost to the azure

I love the pics too you used here .. totally based on words. The real situation of "Hell" you've expressed through this poem. Very nice work once again. Keep on.

I like this. It's well written and even without the title I figured out what it was about immediately. I like it. Keep it up.
